Jessica lives in Oakland, Iowa. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Iowa State University. Jessica has been guiding for a little over a year now. She has followed several veteran guides in Nebraska and Iowa over the last couple of years.
She has grown up around hunting, dogs and the great outdoors of the Midwest. She has been training dogs her whole life, and started focusing on pointers and flushers about 5 years ago. To Jessica, the dog is the most important tool in the field. “You have to learn to read a good dog, they know it all, even more than we give them credit.” The dogs take their job very seriously, but Jessica loves just having fun and bagging a few birds!
