Jack Gangwish
I was lucky to have the opportunity to grow up in south central Nebraska as a farm boy in an area that allowed me to hunt and fish and enjoy the outdoors. I started my hunting at a young age of 10 with pheasant hunting and turkey with my dad. From there I was on a mission every fall gearing up for the chase of pheasants. Than when the spring came I was in the same mode for turkeys.
I didn’t start my quest for the whitetails till I moved to Iowa in 1999 for my job as a firefighter in Council Bluffs. This is we’re I was introduced and fell In love for the chase. This is passion that has really turned into a obsession to succeed for the biggest buck every year. I have had an opportunity to learn from some great whitetail hunters here in Iowa in which it has made me a better hunter.
Now my goals have changed thanks to Rocky Pillings of Magnum Force Whitetail. He has given me the chance to take what I have learned over the years of deer and turkey hunting and put it to use as a guide for Magnum Force. My partner Corey Hackett and I have a combine of 30 years experience in hunting, and are very good at what we do. There is nothing we can’t do when we’re in the outdoors, and thrive on a good challenge. We look forward every year and the chance to meet new people that come into camp.
