At Magnum Force Outfitters we have been managing our deer herds for several years on our property with a long term goal of creating a mature trophy heard to share with our clients.
Serious hunters have long making Iowa one of the main destinations in North America for world record whitetail. With the help of great weather, food sources, quality deer management, and strict hunting regulations Iowa deer have a good chance to reach their maximum genetic potential.
With all the hunting property we have at our dispense, and smaller groups of hunters, we want to ensure our clients that they will not be hunting the same stands on blinds that another client just spent a week in. We are fortunate enough to have very large tracts of land to offer our clients a variety of types of hunts from tall comfy ladder stands, heated tower and ground blinds, to an occasional chance to attempt a spot and stalk on rut crazy buck tending to his doe in the many terraces of our rolling farm ground. Has having this vast variety of terrain at our disposal allows us give our clients a better chance at a shot opportunity and maintain the games unwariness to the hunters.
We have some great hunting ground with no minimum trophy size requirement. We stress that our hunters do their best to harvest a mature animal, but know that every hunters definition of a trophy is differs from each hunter and want our clients to have a memorable experience versus having the pressure put on the of harvesting a minimum scoring animal.

Of course there are no guarantees that you will connect with the buck of your dreams ( that’s why its called hunting), you can rest assured that we will do everything in our power to see that you will have a memorable hunting experience while at one of our camps, and hopefully return year after year to enjoy the pursuit of the Iowa Giants.
Our Property
We have been planting food plots for several years to provide high quality forage, attract and hold deer, and provide herd nutrition during the tough post hunting winter months, so that our animals can reach maximum potential for antler growth and herd health. Through the help of these food plots and free choice mineral supplementing during important antler growth stages, we can then monitor our herd with the use of trail cameras in search of potential trophies for our clients to get a chance to harvest.
For our clients that choose to make all day stand sits, we choose to use only top of the line, tall ladder and hang on stands to give our clients a safe comfortable hunt. We encourage all of our clients to practice safe tree stand hunting and choose to use a quality safety harness system.
North Camp
Our North camp is located near Oakland, IA and is about 30 miles from Eppley Airport in Omaha, Nebraska. Some of this property is in Zone 3 and some in Zone 4. We have over 10,000 acres of privately owned farmland with several tracks of CRP, timberland, marshes and woody creeks to hunt on. Several pieces are on two major rivers that run through Pattawattamie county. There are a lot of acres of terraced farmland which works great for a spot and stalk hunt. We have a wide variety of property to hunt from here.
South Camp
The South camp is East of Afton, IA in Zone 4 and about one hour from Des Moines airport. We have over 3,000 acres of densely wooded timberland and marshes in this camp. This area is very secluded and unequaled by its beauty and amount of wildlife. A true hunting paradise.
